For long-term stable, solid results - invest in SEO, but don't expect instant placements on page one. It takes time. Need instant recognition and great results? Considering the power of each of the engines, and the fact that very few people use both, it is a wise marketing move to use both AdWords and Bing Ads in any paid campaign.
